Invasion of the Email Snatchers
They’re sneaky. And stealthy. They’re quiet and mostly unobtrusive, but once you’ve been visited by them, you’ll know it. Because you’ll be inundated with a seemingly never-ending stream of spam-mails.
They’re email harvesting robots, and chances are you’ve been visited by one.
What these insidious creatures do is crawl your site, much like the search engine spiders do, and collect any and all email addresses they find there.
Im Guilty Until Proven Innocent
No doubt about it.
“Spam” (unsolicited commercial email) threatens to paralyze and ultimately destroy the email system as it currently exists on the Internet.
Anyone with an email address can attest to the fact that the avalanche of Spam has only increased in the last year and shows no sign of stopping.
However, the current system many Internet Service Providers (ISP’s) use to deal with Spam may just destroy the Internet’s email system long before the spammers do.
Edating Readers
One of our Australian clients sent out a campaign using a list which had been complied manually.
The message contained information relevant for the specific job position that these recipients held. It had the sender’s details, a functional (and automated) unsubscribe link, real “from” and “reply” addresses and manual unsubscribes were actioned and replied to immediately.
Beware of the Newest Activity Online: Phishing
No. I’m not talking here about the outdoor activity enjoyed by many. And no again; I did not misspell it. Phishing is the name given to the latest online scam where millions of unwary Americans are getting their identities stolen.
This fraudulent activity is considered the fastest growing crime of modern times.
Stuffing the Spammers!
I’m really, truly fed up with spam. Every day when the spam arrives and Norton Security moves it into the Norton Anti-spam folder of my Outlook email client, I wonder how anyone can be so incredibly stupid as to waste their time sending me such garbage.
Let’s face it; I never read it.
Block Spam with An Easy Behavioral Change
E-mails now have a connection back to their servers. I will leave the technical aspects out of this article. Instead, I will walk you through how information from your computer is getting back to them.
You have probably experienced this already, an e-mail lands in your box with many symbols in the subject line created with the Shift Key plus a Number Key.
The Definition of Spam
Spam can bring down your website faster than a speeding bullet, but what is spam? Originally, spam referred to unwanted emails. We all hate the tons of email we receive day after day trying to get us to buy that or click this. I can’t go a day without someone trying to steal my personal information so they can get into my bank account.

Block Ads, Defeat Pop-Ups, and STOP Page Hijacking
You’re not alone!
Who hasn’t surfed the web looking for information only to have their session interrupted by those annoying pop-up windows displaying everything from banner ads to newsletter sign-up’s?
Though pop-up windows and other methods of influencing a user’s online experiences originally had positive intentions, they now seem only to annoy and manipulate users at every turn.
Evict the Spammers from Your Inbox
Block Spam and Other Email Threats From Entering Your Gateway Spam, commonly defined as unsolicited commercial email, is a powerful advertising channel for many products and services. As a result, spamming has become a profitable business, driven by the low cost of sending email compared to other direct marketing techniques. The high return on investment for spammers has resulted in an overwhelming volume of unwanted messages in personal and business email boxes.
