The Reality of Fairies
No, I have never seen a fairy, an angel, nor any other type of a spirit guide. But I swear there are times I think that if I spun around fast enough they’d be sitting there snickering at me. Today’s one of those days. Quite often, I sit up late at night working too many nights in a row.
A Man Called Jesus
(Channelled)
I have been trying to ignore this title “A Man Called Jesus,” all morning.
I cannot get it out of my head and I don’t particularly want to write about it, but I cannot shake it off. I thought that I would sit down and let it all out and then I could delete it.
Special Washes
Attract and hold your family at home with some unique spiritual & New Age special washes inherited from the Hoodoo practice which combines elements of African and European magical, religious, and witchcraft traditions and a little bit of the Native American use of herbal and botanical wisdom.
What is known in the southern United States as Hoodoo is simply a traditional form of magic, not a religion, which uses the occult and supernatural elements of the Christian, Jewish and European practices.
Book Ends
In the responsibility we have as Christians, we are displayed before non believers as a set of books that should be read. Once the Holy Spirit comes upon us, our library grows into the fruits that are produced in our Christian walk.
Gal. 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Unfinished Woman
I’m at that place in life many refer to as “the dark night of the soul”. My husband and I just finished and moved into our dream home. It was a life long dream come true for me. I thought my life would never be complete without it. Now here I am, one year later and I am going through the classic “what’s next” question.
The Breath of Life
The earth is wrapped in a thin, loose shell of gases - which we call the atmosphere. The mix of gases that make up the atmosphere has changed greatly over the eons.
A Flemish alchemist and physician named Johann Baptista van Helmont was the first man to discover that the air we breathe is not one single substance but a mixture of substances.
Living Your Noble Purpose
"A common jar of clay can never become a noble masterpiece, unless it is broken by its master, refined in fire, and renewed." ? Sharif Khan
There is a passage in scriptures that I have always found troubling. It reads: "Shall what is formed say to Him who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’ Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?" [Romans 9: 20-21].
Evangelical Skepticism: Pursuing Your Right To Be Wrong
Michael Shermer speaks with the energy and passion of an evangelist, so it’s not too surprising to learn that he used to be one. What is surprising is that he has made a 180-degree turn in his approach to belief. As a college student at Pepperdine University, he knocked on doors to spread the word of the gospel to anyone who would listen.
Anam Cara - Discovering Your Being
The more that "little me" allows surrender the more is done. What is done is "good." This, I know, seems a value judgement. It might be better to say that "what is done is joy." No resistance. No getting in the way. No concern for results. Simply trusting what will be will be.
Youre Standing Between Two Clouds
On one side there is a dark cloud. It is full of pain, sickness, disease, poverty, and death. All of the curses talked about in Deuteronomy 28 are swarming in circles.
There is a bright cloud on the other side. It is a white cloud with health, prosperity, peace, and life. All of the blessings talked about in Deuteronomy 28 are floating in this bright cloud.
