When Gamers Get Married: Rock Band Wedding
What happens when digit child-at-heart members of the videogame journalism business intend married? As it turns out: “Still Alive,” Rock Band, and Rickrolling.
My friends Apostle Joynt and Karenic Chu (pictured) got mated terminal weekend, and the circumstance — held at the San Francisco Zoo — was a rocking nerd party. Two 1up.com writers played “Still Alive” during the processional. Apostle and Karen’s prototypal diversion was to “Strangers in the Night” — but the edition from Stubbs the Zombie.
Their prototypal diversion as economise and spouse was apace followed up with their prototypal Rock Band action as economise and spouse — “Here It Goes Again” with me on vocals and our someone Erik on drums. Yes, there’s a recording on Karen’s journal of the full thing, with us mostly unable to center anything on the falsehood and thusly nearly failing, but existence ransomed by digit last-minute utilise deploys.
