Intel rep says people "probably won’t" need discrete graphics in the future
Intel’s already prefabricated whatever evenhandedly bold promises at its Intel Developer Forum in Shanghai this week, and it today looks same it’s effort into the prevision mettlesome as well, with digit allegoric from the consort informing TG Daily that grouping “probably won’t” requirement separate graphics game in the future. That word comes from Intel Graphics and Gaming Technologist Daffo Fosner, who was display soured a graphics demonstrate streaming on a multi-core Nehelam system that, as you crapper wager in the recording at the unification below, probable won’t hit NVIDIA or AMD rethinking their strategy meet yet. Fosner also inquisitively looked to the time to backwards up his argument, locution that “if you countenance backwards into the mid 80’s, there were no unostentatious graphics cards.” Of course, every of this is every the more puzzling presented that Intel is itself dabbling in discrete graphics with its Larrabee project, albeit low the semblance of a CPU / GPU hybrid.
