Some folks haw hit concerns most the section of biometric systems, but Fujitsu doesn’t seem to be pain from some much worries, with it today touting its newborn PalmSecure PC Log-In Kit as a hurried and cushy (and secure) resolution for diminutive and medium-sized businesses. At the edifice of the outfit is the company’s PalmSecure mouse (no word if its been revised since the early edition represented at right), which makes ingest of palm vein-scanning technology instead of the more ordinary fingerprint-scanning variety. That, Fujitsu says, should earmark for hurried log-ons into Windows sessions or password-protected applications, with a greater temperament for the indifference and seek of the assistance when its settled over the scanner. No concern word on toll meet yet, unfortunately, but Fujitsu says it’ll be acquirable at a “competitive toll point” when it’s free this June.
