The aforementioned hebdomad that Nokia technologist Networks undraped its LTE resolution for North America comes a lowercase nugget from Ericsson: the M700. Hailed as the “world’s prototypal commercially acquirable LTE-capable platform,” it promises extreme accumulation transmissions of 100Mbps downbound and 50Mbps up, which module doubtless be the incoming prizewinning abstract since sliced bread. Reportedly, initial devices supported on the organisation module be ExpressCards, USB modems, etc., and of course, it supports bandwidths between 1.4 and 20MHz and the oh-so-exciting 700MHz bands. Unfortunately, a advertizement promulgation isn’t ordered to hap until 2009 — with products “based on the platform” not regular until 2010 — but to its credit, samples of ASICs module be primed to listing sometime this year.
