Asus R50 UMPC release gets firm, like coagulating jello
Filed under: Handhelds, Tablet PCs
We haven’t heard such most ASUS’ R50/R50a UMPC since its entry at CES in January. Oh sure, it was on pass at CeBIT but exclusive to be overshadowed (literally) by its dignified 7-inch, R70 bro. With Intel right authorised with Atom, Asus today tells us to wait the 5.6-inch R50 to rollout before June in both UNIX and Vista flavors with a toll above $500. Really, Asus, “above” $500, so is that $501, $1,000 or $1,500? A lowercase taste more specificity gratify when you foretell the due Nov availability of the incoming R50 with keyboard, ok?
